Introduction

While some people are of the opinion that the responsibility for transporting children to schools should fall on parents's shoulders, other argues that governments should be held accountable. This essay will examine boths schools of thought before stating my preference on an approach that combines the best of both parties.

Body

The notion that taking students to schools should fall on governments's shoulders holds an extent of rationality. First and foremost, School buses funded by local authorities can guarantee high punctuality as they have fixed, announced schedules. By following the pre-determined timeframe, schools can ensure to get all children to schools without worrying about inpunctuality. However, this may not always the case for all parents as some of those may oversleep after a night shift, or have to leave home to early. As a consequence, not going to schools on time does not necessarily come from children alone, but from parents also.

Nevertheless, the notion that childrens should be taken to schools by either mothers or fathers holds rationality as it can effectively calm down their preoccupations. In some developing countries, the safety net may be not fully guaranteed as high crime rates on roads. Principles among which would be kidnappers, high-speed racing, or vague lane seperation for pedestrians, trucks and private vehicles. Even if they are driven by school buses, no one can ensure those tragedies do not happen. As such, the preoccupations of parents for their children' safety on going to schools is understandable to an extent. Moreover, once going with their parents, children can have last moments before being separated completely, especially for those who are in boarding schools. By discussing on the roads, parents and children have gain more insights into each other, potentially fostering family strengths. This situation may be particularly beneficial for primary school pulpils who need parental reassurance on the first day to school.

I believe for a combination of both methods according to each households' need. for excessively occupied parents or work inflexibility, they would register their children for school buses. For other parts, they think they can be held accountable to get to schools with their children, they can do it themselves. That way, the duty is divided equally, alleviating the pressure on both parties.

Conclusion

In conclusion, notwithstanding the previously discussed benefits of both methods, I am hopeful that a more flexible approach should be enforced based on each family' needs. Schools can governments should take this problem into thorough consideration to prevent further unforeseeable social conundrums.
