In today’s modern world, it is widely believed that artificial intelligence will enhance people’s quality of life whereas others assume that AI may bring about many disadvantages for human life. ＋In this essay I will discuss both perspectives before presenting my own opinion.

Initially, it is true that the use of AI-powered tools has become increasingly popular, which is likely to be an indispensable tool for people in the AI era. Not only does artificial intelligence help people improve their life, but it also allows us to access information instantly through digital platforms. To illustrate, students can use AI as a supplementary tool for learning. Only by asking questions to such tools can learners receive full explanations that are tailored to their academic levels. Then, many learners improve their academic performance through the use of AI.

However, AI-powered tools may also have several drawbacks if people use them inappropriately. This is because of the fact that artificial intelligence may reduce people’s problem-solving and decision-making skills, thereby making them rely heavily on AI tools. Furthermore, over-reliance on AI also undermines people’s roles and responsibilities in daily life tasks. For example, AI is able to analyse data, solve problems and even design arts which may replace many jobs in the future and contribute to the significant growth of unemployment rate. Therefore, governments should take actions to regulate the excessive use of AI and schools should have to educate students to utilize artificial intelligence wisely.

In conclusion, although AI brings many benefits for human life, people still need to learn how to use it appropriately in order to achieve better results. From my perspective, I believe that artificial intelligence will assist our lives in many fields in future if people are encouraged to use it as an additional resource for self-development rather than a substitute of independent thinking.
