The bar chart illustrates some different reasons given by adults leading to choose online courses in 2025. Overall, there was six reasons in total, including flexibility, lower cost, no commute, course range, family duties and employer request. All of them were represented from the biggest proportion to the smallest one respectively in the bar chart. The most common reason was the flexibility, whereas the least popular category was the employer request. In 2025, the flexibility experienced the highest proportion, at 72%. Lower cost was a distant second, with 17% less than the figure of most popular reason. This was followed by the percentages of no commute and course range. The gap between them was not great, recorded by 48% and 36% respectively. Family duties ranked fifth in the chart. whereas the employer request made up for the smallest proportion with 14% in its figure, which was more than one fifth of the greatest share.
