The diagram illustrates the process that is used to produce sugar from sugar cane. Overall, there are seven steps in the process of making sugar, beginning with planting and collecting sugar canes from the ground and ending with drying and cooling to form sugar. At the beginning of the process, it can be clearly seen that sugar canes are planted and nurtured by farmers. After from 12 to 18 months the sugar canes can be completely ready to harvest , at that time it has two methods is collected by machine or by farmers. In the subsequent step, the sugar canes are put in crusher and crushed into juice. Then limestone filter is prepared to purify the juice. In the fifth step, the juice is placed in evaporator to be heated to become syrup. As soon as the heating step has been finished, the process continues with separating sugar crystals from syrup by centrifuge. In the final step a silver box is used to dry and cool the sugar crystals and receive the final result is sugar.
