The given charts illustrate the proportion of students at one mature education center choosing numerous courses between 1985 and then. In general, the percentage of students taking modern languages courses took the highest in 1985 and tended to decline, while at present, mussic appriciation courses have been removed and IT courses have become a new trend. In 1985,the percentage of students who registering for modern languages classes (including French, German and Spanish) account for the highest at 24% and the second is fitness and dance courses at 22%. Next, the proportion of student taking cookery, local history and art classes occupied 14% , 15% and 17% in turn. Finally, the percentage of students taking music appriciation start at 8%, making it the lowest among six different courses. At present, the share of modern languages are registered by students have decreased significantly to 17%, while the share of students choosing art classes fall slightly to 15%. By contrast, the share of students taking cookery and IT courses is witnessed a considerable growth to 19% and 27% respectively. It can be seen that the proportion of students taking fitness and dance classes have remain unchanged at 22%. Finally, the percentage of students taking have been removed.
