The table compares the annual percentage changes in ten major socio-economic indicators in Vietnam in 2024 and 2025. Generally, almost every socio-economic metric witnessed an upward trend, apart from FDI inflows and the Consumer Price Index. Throughout the period, the Import and Export values of goods had the highest percentage, while inflation recorded modest figures. Import value initially stood at 16.70%, whereas Export value was at 14,30% before reacreachin 19,40% and 17% respectively in 2025. Regarding the transportation and storage sector, it started at 10,20%, followed closely by that of Accommodation and food service growth at 9,80%. In 2025, the former ended at 10,99%, which was 0,97% higher than the latter. Gross retail sales of consumer goods and services and Industrial production growth were similar in the first year at 8,90% and 8,40% in that order with both reaching 9,20%. While GDP growth rate began at 7,09% then rose to 8,02%%, Labour productivity growth’s initial point was at 5,88% before climbing by 0,95%. Both FDI inflows and Consumer price index exhibited an opposite trend, experiencing a decrease. Starting at 9,40% and 3,63%, FDI inflows and the Consumer price index dropped to 9,00% and 3,31% respectively.
