The given bar charts compare the percentage of films released and and the percentage of ticket sales for 4 different film categories between 1996 and 2000. Overall, the proportion of films released witnessed an increase, whereas those of cinema ticket sales recorded a mixed trend. While, drama was the most frequently released genre, comedy accounted for the largest proportion of cinema tickets sales. Regarding the percentage of films released, in 1996, drama was the genre that had the largest share of releases, stood at about 27%, compared to 20% of comedy films. While, for fantasy and romance category just over 10% and around 5% respectively. In 2000, drama continued remain had the highest proportion at 35%, higher than that of comedy by 10%.
