In this day and age, there is an ongoing debate regarding whether individuals have criminal actions because of poverty and social issues or their awful characters. While I acknowledge that there are convincing arguments for both sides, I hold the view that the criminal action is the consequence of detrimental social problems.

On the one hand, there are several reasons why people argue that people commit crime because of their terible nature. Nowadays, people easily get access to a variaty of glamorous lives on social media, where wealth and apealling success are widespread in an exaggerated way, making people atractive and admired. This means that people with bad character are likely to wish and afford these kind of happiness, making them greed to have everything they want. As a result, people commit crime to earn money illegally as a way to satisfy their fulfilment instead of making a living by themselves by persuing a genuine career path.＋ Therefore, it is understandable why bad personality is one of primary reasons of people commit crime. On the other hand, it is argued that social concerning issues and poverty are profound factors lead to antisocial behaviors. I believe that this is the more reasonable viewpoint. The fundamental reason is that people are easily overwheled with daily responsibilities such as earning adequate income, protecting family and dealing with the high cost of living, especially with those who have disadvantaged background. For instance, during Covid 19 padamic, there is a plethora of employees and companies running out of business, which even make them challenging to handle financial aspect and protect their health. Thus, impoverished people decide to steal valueable goods as a way to make a living, eventhough they are not truely rapacity. Therefore, people believe that criminal behaviors are just the consequences of restrictive societies, forcing to do everything to meet their daily demands.

＋In conclusion, although there are valid arguments in favour of people are likely to commit crime because of their natural personalities. I believe that poverty and social challenges are the more essential consideration. This means that goverments should invest more in voluntary campaings and moderately donate for disadvantaged people to improve the development of the society.
