The diagrams illustrate the current layout of the town named Huntingdon and the way it will appear after a redevelopment proposal. Overall, this area is set to undergo significant transformation, the most noticeable of which are the enhancement of public infrastructure and the introduction of a zone for industrial purposes at the expense of an open-air place. Looking first at the road system, it is proposed to be redeveloped. Huntingdon features a roundabout where the roads A1 intersects with A14 in the northwestern corner. While the former runs from the north to south, the latter travel across from northwest to southeast. The northern section of A1 links to the Airfield, which is planned to be converted into an industrial estate. Meanwhile, in the south, the T-junction between A1 and Brampton Road serves as an access to the town center. To improve accessibility, another proposed roundabout will replace the intersection between Brampton and A14 Roads is proposed to emerge, accompanied by the removal of the southern section of the latter. Despite these changes, railway station is set to be evident, as it stands adjacent to the existing intersection now. Concurrently, an additional small road named A1 will be constructed to connect the southern end of Road A1 and a newly-built road connecting to the ring road. The plan indicates that the built-up area surrounding the town center in the middle east will remained unaltered, with a cluster of residences and shops. Simultaneously, a planned extension of the rail line links the current rail network to the newly-built industrial area, enhancing accessibility in the town.
