The table illustartes data pertaining to women in the workforce and those in the field of management in five different countries. At first glance, Australia, Sri Lanka, Japan and the US have a fairly gender labor force in comparison to Egypt. However, as far as the stream of management is concerned, there was significant gender disparity in different countries except for the US and Australia. Firstly, almost half of the workforce in Japan was women, accounting for 48%. The US was followed closely where 46% of the positions have been taken by women. Women made up 42% in Australia as well as Sri Lanka. However, Egypt had an unbalanced gender workforce with just 20% of women. Regarding of women in management positions Australia and the US still remained in a relatively balanced labor market with 43% women in both of these countries. In contrast, the proportion of women mangers in Egypt and Japan only contributed to 12% and 17% respectively. Sri Lanka had the least manager positions for women, merely 9%
