The bar chart compares salaries of doctors and other workers per year in seven countries in 2004 Overall, doctors earned higher salaries than other workers in every country. It is also noticeable that the US recorded the highest pay for both doctors and other workers, whereas Germany, Czech and Italy shared the lowest salary for other workers. Regarding doctors, doctors received the highest salary in the US, which was twice as high as that figure for Italy, at 120 and 60 thousand dollars, respectively. In addition, Germany and Czech recorded almost identical salaries, at around 65 thousand dollars. At approximately 50 thousand dollars, Finland witnessed the lowest salary for doctors. Turning to other workers, the US again recorded the highest salary, at nearly 45 thousand dollars, followed by Switzerland at 40 thousand dollars. The salary for other workers in France was a bit higher than that figure for Finland, at around 30 and over 20 thousand dollars, respectively. Finally, Germany, Czech and Italy recorded the same salary for other workers, at exactly 20 thousand dollars.
