The given maps provide an overview of an urbanization of a specific area at two different points in time: 1995 and now. Overall, the rural area has experienced radical changes, with the most noticeable being the construction of a car park and a new road outside. In addition, there has been a conversion of farmland and a forest park to a golf course and tennis courts. In 1995, there were two roads, one runs from the northwest to the southeast bisecting two areas and the second road stretches from the west to the east. Moreover, there were two distinct housing areas, one along the road in the corner northwest, another below it and enclosed by its own road, while the farmland and the forest park was placed in the corner northeast. In addition, a line of shops in the west of the map and a hotel in the east were situated along the second road, whilst a line of fish market and a cafe were opposite them, respectively. In the southern part, there was a fishing port in the middle of the map, surrounded by the sea. In the present, more houses have been constructed in both residential areas, and the housing area with roads around has added a new road in the west outside the map, while the farm and the forest park have been completely removed and converted into a golf course and tennis courts. Meanwhile, there has been a conversion of the lines of shops and the fishing market to new lines of restaurants and seafront apartments, and a carpark has been built next to the hotel. Finally, the hotel has remained unchanged and the fishing port has been demolished.
