In recent years, robots have increasingly been used to perform a wide range of tasks in both households and workplaces. While some people argue that this trend may lead to various issues, I believe that the advantages of robotic automation far outweigh its drawbacks

To begin with, that automated machines take over human’s tasks allow them to have more time for other activities. When robotic systems carry out some repetive tasks, individuals can devote their time to perform more creativity and complexity-related work, which may contribute to enhancing their overall development. In addition, productivity and quality can be improved as well. Robots are programmed to perform specific tasks, which is synonymous to no exhausted feeling be shown. They can, as a result, cover work consistently, improving the efficiency of the tasks. Finally, career’s safety can be improved through allowing robots to take over different tasks. There are a lot of jobs that can put workers into danger conditions, namely miners or firefighters. If automated machines can provide advanced safety-tools, long-distance assistance, the danger rate may be reduced

However, Overrelying on autonomous machines can lead to increasing job displacement. The more people demand for the assistance of robots in daily tasks, the more innovative automated machines are devised. Consequently, robotic systems may gradually undertake individuals’ jobs, resulting in high unemployment rate. For example, statistics have shown a significantly high percentage job loses in a wide range of fields, namely accountants and bank tellers.

To conclude, despite certain concerns regarding automation, I am convinced that the growing use of robots is largely beneficial. By undertaking repetitive and hazardous tasks with greater accuracy and efficiency, robots not only improve productivity but also enhance people's quality of life.
