People are largely devided on the engagement of women in the armed forces. Some people hold that women should be given the same opportunities as men in these professions, while others argue that they are unsuitable for these demanding jobs. This essay will examine both views and try to reach a conclusion.

On the one hand, some people subscribe to the opinion that women maybe more suitable than men for certain jobs. They claim that female police workers often assigned to cases involving women and children, such as sexual abuse or domestic violence. Obviuosly, female victims and children will feel more willing and safer to share sensitive details or provide incidents to a female officer because of the same gender. Another argument in favor of the essential role of women in these field is that women can be highly effective at collecting intelligence thanks to their pateince and ability to integrate into local communities. Particularly, in secrete missons, women may attract less suspicion than men, making it easier for them to disguise themselves and infiltrate criminal networks to collect valuable information.On the other hand, people holding that women are not suitable for these professions have a number of compelling reasons to justify their opinion. Firstly, police focers require officers to meet consistent physical standards and ensure they can complete highly demanding tasks. For instance, if someone with weak physical condition or a smaller member than the remaining members of the team can slow down the entire task and even reduce work effiency. Secondly, women policemans face physical health barriers when it comes to a heavy job. Military forces and certain police duties often require specialized training, strict lifestyle to meet the demands of high-endurance missions but women are often unable to complete these task due to a lack of strength.＋

In short, this essay has looked into two schools of thougth about women's participation in the military. Personally, I am more in favor of the view that women face too many physical limitations to serve in the military or police. However, females who choose to take part in the military have demonstrated both admirable determination and gender equality.
