＋Some people believe that music plays a significant role in bringing people of different cultures and ages together. In my opinion, although it is valid for a certain extent, I still believe that music cannot connect different kinds of people effectively.

On the one hand, music brings people together by including national cultures in music videos. Since many musicians release their songs by designing meaningful videos and adding some features of their own culture, international listeners can learn about traditions and lifestyles in that country more easily. As a result, people can have a deep understand about other cultures without travelling or attending courses which cost a lot of money. Moreover, music can bring people together because they can share the same feelings about songs. Songs are written with meaningful lyrics and catchy melody connecting people’ feelings to the song. Therefore, people can share their thinking about the song with each other and show their emotions such as happiness and sadness which sympathy with people from different ages.＋ On the other hand, because of generations gap, people cannot connect to other by music. While young people keen on modern music like pop and ballad, the elderly sticks with outdated types of music such as jazz and folk songs. Therefore, it is hard for them to share the same kinds of music. Another reason why music cannot bring people together effectively is that language barriers. If people want to reach deep understands of music, they will need to know the lyrics written in different languages. Consequently, people who do not have the same culture with others tend to avoid international songs.

In conclusion, people can be brought together by music because they can share their feelings and learn more about other countries through music videos. However, because of generations gap and language barriers, people cannot connect with each other conveniently and effectively.
