Meanwhile, Argentina’s car production rose steadily to 352,759 in 2006, followed by a consistent increase to reach 466,089 in 2009. A substantial decline can be seen in the figure for Australia over the period. In 2003, 452,163 cars were made in Australia, after which it experienced a drop to 341,268 in 2006, before ending the period at 245,624. By the end of the period, Australia had not only recorded a dramatic decline but also had the smallest level among the three countries in 2009.
