The picture demonstrates how to purify dirty water with a simple system. Overall, the process includes two main stage, which are filtration and storing, with a series of small steps. It starts with pouring the water and ends with storing the water and consuming it. Initially, the dirty water, which is stored in a tank, is poured into a prepared plastic barrel that have a plastic lid. Inside this barrel, there are 3 layers in order to filter out all residues in the water, consisting of sand, charcoal and gravel. The gravel is the bottom layer, then the charcoal is placed on it, before depositing the sand in the upper. After going through all the layers, cleaned water is produced. Once the cleaned water has been stored below, it is then channeled through a pipe, that connects two place, into a drum for the storage purpose. At the end of the process, the fresh water is poured into a glass so that it can be drank.
