The two pie charts illustrate the types of communication training undertaken by employees in an international company, together with the reasons why they participated in these training courses. Overall, part time evening training was the most popular type of communicaton training, while distance learning was the least prefered option. Turning to the reasons for participation, holiday travel accounted for the largest proportion, whereas communication with client represented the smallest share. Regarding the types of communication training, part time evening courses for the largest proportion, at about 39%, which was almost double the figures both self tuition and part time weekends training, each showing 22%. By comparison, intensive training made up only 12%, while the distant learning was the least common option, comprising a mere 5% of all participants. With regard to the participation, holiday travel was the most common motivation, accounting for 46%, which was considerable higher than the proportions for all the remaining categories. Business travel ranked second at 17%, followed by personal interest and other reason at 14% and 13%, respectively. In contrast, communication with clients was the least frequently cited reason, representing just 10% of the total.
