Introduction
Body
To be sure, the growth of income and car manufacturers is the main cause. When the socio-economic situation has surged for thirty years, the disposable income of individuals sharply increased, cars have not been a luxury item, even the middle class could afford. As a result, many families choose to purchase a car to serve their safe travel, leading to a sudden surge in the number of vehicles, exceeding the capacity of the road infrastructure. Additionally, automotive market competition is increasingly brutal. The entry of numerous new brands results in many boosting sales manners, especially launching affordable car models and partnering with banks for installment loans. Consequently, the road infrastructure in cities has not kept pace with the surge in traffic. While people can buy a car in just a few days thanks to rising incomes and installment payment plans, expanding a road, building a bridge, or redesigning a transportation system takes years, even decades.
However, there are some solutions deployed in a short time. Generally, increasing hourly parking fees in some busy areas and charging fees on certain congested routes are a temporary solution. Some nations, specifically capitalist countries, applying this rule have decreased the ratio of traffic congestion. Furthermore, implement dedicated bus lanes to immediately increase the speed of public transportation, and private vehicles cannot move on this lane. When the cost of maintaining a car trip becomes too expensive and time-consuming compared to bus travel, people will immediately consider switching to other modes of transportation for their daily commutes to school or work. Finally, to maintain long-term strategies, the budget should be invested in upgrading the public transportation network comprehensively, and the development of this must meet at least three criteria, including punctuality, cleanliness, and affordability. When public transportation is sufficiently convenient, people will voluntarily give up their private vehicles without the need for coercive measures.
Conclusion
+In conclusion, I believe that rising incomes with the emergence of numerous car brands on the market, have led to increased car ownership among the population. This has resulted in traffic congestion on some routes, which may not be large enough to accommodate everyone.
