There is ongoing debate over whether governments should allocate money in space exploration or solving problems on Earth. In this essay, I would evaluate both schools of thought before proposing which side is more prominent.＋

Granted, on the one hand, it is vital for the government to invest in exploring other planets as scientists can deeply discover various unexploited facts and invent some modern facilities which are useful and easily adopted in people's everyday lives. For example, nowadays, many astronauts are trying to find new planets for the survival of humanity due to overpopulation and climate change problems on Earth. Furthermore, thanks to space exploration, technological breakthroughs such as artificial intelligence, 5G technology,... are created and become increasingly popular among people around the world. As a result, this discovery helps create a modern society with high-tech devices.＋

On the other hand, spending money on resolving problems on Earth also plays an important role in protecting the quality of people’s lives. Today, there are many serious issues significantly affecting people’s health and life on Earth that are not tackled, thereby allocating finance on these problems is extremely essential. For instance, a substantial proportion of individuals suffer from poverty backgrounds and environmental issues. Therefore, the government should invest in addressing these problems by providing food, insurance and implementing stringent regulations about protecting the environment as they can offer high-quality lives for people. Thus, it is able to enhance people's quality of life in the long run.

In my opinion, although spending money on space discovery is important in developing smart inventions, allocating that money to address individuals’ problems on Earth is more crucial as it will ensure a long-term high-quality of lives. I believe that the government should prioritize more practical and essential solutions to enable people to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.

＋In conclusion, I believe the potential benefits of tackling emergency problems on Earth can outweigh the advantages of planet discovery.
