＋Some people are of the claim that the progression of human beings relies considerably on the appliances and features of robots. Others, however, claim that using robots is problematic and has detrimental effects on society. Although both views have certain merits, I believe that the utilization of robots or automation systems could bring about more drawbacks than benefits.

On the one hand, there are some major reasons to explain why the use of robots are extremely required for the modern growth of the entire world.Compared to manual labor or rudimentary machinery systems, robots systems do not require a significant downtime, make few errors, and are less susceptible to the accidents that may be fatal and disastrous. As a result, they effectively boost overall productivity,helping with providing sufficient resources, and thereby meeting the growing demands which involve food and products of the world’s population.＋On the other hand, the surging popularity of robot utilization is believed by many to have major drawbacks on the employment market and humans. To be more detailed, the unprecedented efficiency of automatic systems in accomplishing many tasks that are traditionally done by humans can lead to the fact that many are losing their jobs to robots, resulting in a plunge in the average income and putting many lives in jeopardy. Furthermore, the widespread application of automatic machines in many production stages could lead to the reduction in human skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and physical ability, posing a threat to the future capacity of people.＋

In conclusion, although the application of robots could effectively increase productivity due to its characteristics such as accuracy or working without a rest, I argue such automatic systems can profoundly affect the society in terms of rising unemployment rate and gradual erosion of manual ability.
