The maps illustrate how an island called Paradise has changed from the past to present. Overall, it is clear that the Paradise underwent several significant developments with new facilities and recreational spaces being added To the west of the island, the coconut grove was completely chopped down to construct the Restaurant in the central, together with a new BBQ area to the south-west, and just below it, a cycle path was built. The Natural Spring was remained unchanged, however, there was a new cafe appeared to the south of it. On the top of the Island, A scenic lookout was added near the sea. In the easthern part of the area, the scientific research station was removed to make way for the Hotel Complex, and a new swimming pool was also built next to the hotel. Moreover, the Pier was expanded to facilitate the construction of harbour and cruise ship. In contrast, the swimming area was limited for requiring visitors to have permission
