The maps illustrate the changes in the layout of a bookstore between 2000 and now. Overall, it is clear that the layout of a bookstore witnessed a significant change from 200 to now, especially in the left of the entrance. Various items such as art, hobbies, cookery, fiction and non-fiction bookshelves were removed and relocated to another section of the bookstore. In 2000, to the left of the entrance, the fiction areas where have narrow down to a small section and replaced by art, hobbies and cookery bookshelves. In the center of the bookstore, some features like art, hobbies and cookery have been removed and made room for three tables in which the consumer can sit down and read books. Whereas the travel section remains unchanged nowadays. In addition, to the right of the entrance, the non-fiction books have been removed to the upper left-hand corner of the bookstore, where fiction section disappears. Now, there was a café where used to be for non-fiction areas. While some features such as new books and service desk remain unchanged until now.
