These days, people are increasingly concerned about the rising of youngsters turning to crimes. This issue occurs for several elements, and it can trigger some negative influences on teenagers as well as the society.

Body

This issue mainly stems from the lack of education, especially from their families. Many couples, after having kids, gradually pay less attention for their kids because of multiple reasons, such as hectic work schedules or marital conflict. Consequently, they forget their responsibility to provide their children with care, attention and guidance that they need. Overtime, as children growing up without proper guidance and a clear understanding of right and wrong, they are more likely to embark on a life of crime. Another primary factor is that some young people commit crimes to satisfy their material desires. In fact, teenagers who come from low-income families, which means that they can not afford the same lifestyle as their peers, may easily turn to theft to keep up with friends. Since this problem poses various adverse impacts on individuals and modern society, practical strategies should be taken to work it out. First and foremost, parent’s education play a vital role in child’s development. Therefore, parents should spend more time with their kids and apply appropriate educational methods. At the same time, by building good trait and character at a young age, they can help children develop a strong sense of right and wrong. Additionally, the government should introduce policies of zero tolerance in order to discourage criminal behavior and reduce the number of crimes.

In conclusion, although several factors can contribute to the increasing in the amount of young criminals, parental guidance plays a significant role in shaping children's behavior. Therefore, parents and governments should take responsibility for providing proper guidance and moral education to help their teenagers develop into responsible individuals and avoid commiting in criminal activities.
