The line graph compares the proportion of international conferences in three cities from 1965 to 2010. Overall, the numbers of international conferences in the three cities witnessed an upward trend over the period. In addition, City A recorded the highest proportion. whereas City C had the lowest figure throughout the timeframe. Looking at the details, City A captured a pole position at 35 conferences in 1965, which was slightly higher than the figure for City B at around 31 conferences. By contrast, the number for City A fell sharply to 20 conferences in 1975 before climbing noticeably to 30 conferences in 1985. After rising to 30 conferences in 2005 before dropping considerably to 20 conferences at the end of the period. Similarly, the figure for City B declined gradually from about 31 conferences in 1965 to around 26 conferences in 1995 before increasing slightly to 28 conferences in 2005 then falling to 25 conferences in 2010. As for City C which showed a different pattern, standing at 0 conferences in 1965 before climbing steadily to approximately 20 conferences in 1985. Afterwards, the figure continued to rise to around 28 conferences in 1995, despite a slight fall to 25 conferences in 2005.
