The diagram illustrates how carbonated drinks are made. Overall, there are five main stages involved in this process, commencing with water cleaning and culminating in packaging. Notably, the process relies on a series of specialized machines to produce carbonated drinks from raw water. Focusing on the first half, the raw water provided from the supplier is initially filtered before being fed into a water softener where chemicals are applied. Once finished, it passes through a pump and a electric heater and then it is cooled through a specific pipe and transferred to a container where carbon dioxide is released. As the water is treated with carbon dioxide, the resulting liquid is moved through a pipe in order to prepare for the next stage. As for the remaining steps, the carbonated water is fed into a mixing machine where colouring, syrup and flavour are added. Then, the mixture is transferred into a filter attached to the mixer before undergoing the stage of filtering and filling, in which the water is either inserted into bottles or cans. Finally, these bottles and cans are packaged into boxes and then delivered via truck for the consumption of supermarket.
