There is an ongoing debate about whether the government should allocate funding for skills and vocational training for practical work rather than university education. While learning vocational allows students to adapt careers in short-term, university helps individuals have full development and interpersonal skills. I strongly disagree with views and explain in this following essay

On the one hand, studying at university enables students to gain more depth-knowledge and enhance interpersonal skills. First of all, by learning academic and practical subjects in college, students can acquire more qualifications and abilities required in the labour market. This enables them to secure stable employment and contribute to economic development. Moreover, university education lays a solid foundation for a future career. Learners can develop logical thinking and analytical thinking, allowing them to understand more advanced concepts. As a result, they are prepared for a long-term career. Admittedly, learning skills and vocational training hold several benefits. By these approaches, while study skills enable learners to continue learning independently throughout their lives, vocational training prepares them with practical expertise that can be applied directly in the workplace. However, it leads to adverse effects for the long-term. ＋Students get difficulty to pursue higher education and salaries without a foundation and a deeper understanding of different academic disciplines. Thus, many countries particularly tend to spend more money on university for long-term goals and create more opportunities for students to have full development

In conclusion, despite skills and learning vocational training hold some merits, these adverse effects are greater than the benefits. Meanwhile, by learning in college lay a groundwork for future career and enhance interpersonal skills for learners
