There has been an ongoing discussion regarding whether technology development makes users’ lives more convenient. A large number of individuals argue that it is unnecessary as it makes lives become more complicated and unnecessary.＋ I strongly believe that removing advanced devices is not a solution.

One the one hand, technology advancement poses various drawbacks for individuals. One of the most worth mentioning disadvantages is the limitation of user groups. Elder cohorts, for example, are usually technophobe. For them, doing things the traditional ways are easier and more efficient, thus, they tend to fall behind the speed of technology development.＋

However, advanced technology goods arguably offers numerous benefits for its users in both of their daily live and worklife. With the development of electronic gadgets and telecommunication, communicating online, for example, becomes more easily and less time-consuming. It used to take weeks or months to deliver messages via mails from different parts of the world, but now this can be done via one click. At workplace, many companies apply Artifical Intelligence to cut down steps in working process and cut down tasks. Consequencely, the workload is reduced and employees have more time to focus on other remaining tasks.＋

In conclusion, both views represents the extremes of a complex issue. While advanced technology devices are not user-friendly to everyone, they help saveing time, reduces the workload and simplifies people’s lives. I believe the solution is not to exclude using these devices, but to provide instructions so as to make the most out of these development.
