The picture describes how olive oil is generated. Overall, the process comprises a number of steps, beginning with collecting olives and ending with storing the produced oil in tanks. At the beginning of the process, olives are harvested from trees, after which they are placed in a collection vat. Subsequently, they undergo the process of de-leafing and washing before being moved to an olive mill in order to produce an olive paste. After the produced olive paste is transferred to a malaxer at less than 27°C, it is delivered to a centrifugal press. The process continues with the virgin oils being processed through two different methods. Regarding the first measure, the virgin oils are moved to a separator to remove waste water, while in the second method, they are transported to a decanter to separate solids and water. Meanwhile, the remaining pomace is taken out from the centrifuge to be processed further in specialized factories. At the final stage of the process, the finished purified oil is stored in tanks, making it ready for distribution.
