The line graph illustrates how energy consumption in the UK was reported by a 2011 report over a 50-year period from 1978 with future projections. Overall, petrol and oil increased by far the most dramatically and will become the dominant form of consuming energy by the end of this trend. By contrast, natural gas stood at 20 quadrillion units in 1978 and became fluctuating wildly, then had an unchanged trend over 20 years from 2018 to 2038. All of nuclear, hydropower, solar, and wind stood at around 3 quadrillion units in 1978. From 2013 to 2033, inhabitants spend on nuclear, solar and wind, showing stability at around 7 and 5, in turn, and then both of them have a slight upward trend in 2038. On the other hand, hydropower decrease gently and remained old figure during 15 years.
