Introduction
Body
To begin with, advertisements have a deeper impact on people’s choices than their surface-level influence. To illustrate, commercials function by creating brand familiarity and positive associations in consumers’ minds. Even if the advertisements can be amusing, either annoying, by continuously repeating the brand’s name or logo, it will eventually be implanted in the buyer's mind. As a result, when faced with multiple choices at the point of sale, that familiar brand is more likely to be selected, simply because it is the most recognizable. Their influence is not sudden, but through repetition, which ultimately guides consumer behavior.
Furthermore, the responses whether it is positive or negative, are, in fact, an integral part of the commercial strategy. A funny advertisement is designed to build a strong connection with the brand, making it more appealing, while an annoying one, despite receiving excessive bad reactions, still achieve their primary goal of capturing attention, and creating brand recall. For example, such promotions can make people groan, but it will also ensure that the product’s name is not easily forgotten.+
Conclusion
In summary, the assumption that consumers are immune to advertising simply because they feel amused or annoyed is entirely unfounded. Advertisements function as potent psychological instruments, subtly molding our preferences and consumer behavior beneath the level of conscious awareness.
