The pie chart gives information about money spent on household expenses in each field in two different countries, Japan and Malaysia, in the year 2010. Overall, it can be seen that over the period, housing and other goods and services were the dominant figures of the total expenditures, whereas food and transport followed, respectively. Another point is that health care in both countries had the lowest proportion in the chart. In Japan, other goods and services accounted for the largest expenditures, at 29%. Food in this country followed, with figures of 24%. Housing and transport had the proportion at 21% and 20%, respectively. Health care registered the lowest average, at just 6%. Housing had the highest figures in Malaysia and over the period, at 34%. Food and other goods and services had a lower proportion than housing, at 27% and 26%, respectively. Transport had just accounted at 10%, and health care recorded the lowest proportion at 3%.
