Nowadays,in many nations, international tourism has played a vital role among main industries. This essay will evaluate both the positive and negative aspects of this development for both local residents and nature.

On the one hand, global tourism has some negative impacts on the local ecological environment. Firstly, in the past, many local species and plants grew rapidly and peacefully because there was not any human activities at that time. For instance, there were not any resorts that were built in the forest. However, in this day and age, the rise of global tourists causes many problems to the ecosystem. Many species lose their habitats and food sources, resulting in extinction or being endangered. Consequently, our earth would break down in ecological balance gradually.On the other hand, the rise of international tourism creates many job opportunities for local citizens. Many people who used to be umemployed now can be recruited by numerous travel agencies. For instance, many restaurants would be opened in order to serve food to the tourists. Simultaneously, many farmers would be able to sell their crops to these restaurants. As a result, local communities’ life would be improved completely and the economy of this country would be stable and increase day-by-day.

In conclusion, although international tourism has created many job opportunities to the local residents, its effect on the ecosystem is worth considering. Therefore, government should implement strict regulations to raise travellers’ awareness in order to preserve the local ecosystem. Then they also have a chance to introduce our heritages’ beauty to the foreign visitors.
