The table illustrates the anual milk production across four countries (Netherlands, Australia, Tanzania and Guatemala) in 1990, 2000 and 2010, measured by litres. Overall, Netherlands was seen to be the largest milk producer throughout the time, while Guatemala was found to be the smallest one. Evidently, all the nations experienced different changes in milk production: While Australia displayed a downward trend and Netherlands exhibited a fluctuation, Guatemala and Tanzania presented upward trends. Looking at Australia first, the country remained at the second place in comparison. In detail, there was only a narrow gap of 20 thousand between it and that of Netherlands in 1990. However, the amount dropped by approximately 100 thousand in 2000, and finally fell to 9,165,000 in 2010 (2 million less than that of Netherlands). Turning to Netherlands, the nation dominated the milk production over the years. It started at 11,262,000 litres in 1990, but then followed by a drop of 100 thousand in 2000. Nevertheless, it recovered in 2010, rising to 11,466,000. Shifting the other two countries, substantial increases were observed. In terms of Tanzania, its milk production rose dramatically by nearly 60 thousand, displaying the most remarkable growth during 1990-2000. It then followed by a slight increase to reach 155,000 in 2010. Guatemala also saw a stable increase, jumping from merely 26,000 in 1990 to 84,000 in 2010, though the place was still recorded to have the least production.
