It is widely argued that investing in the young generation can best ensure the future of a nation. While this policy helps the government to have a well-educated workforce, I personally think that investing in education and environmental protection are equally essential in this case.

Particularly, when the government prioritises this field, such as building more schools, renovating educational facilities and the curriculum, and training qualified educators, the young can get access to decent education, which helps those people work in professional areas, such as science and technology. As a result, they can create achievements and huge social value. Besides, the government should provide capital investment for startups and create job opportunities for graduates, both of which contribute to reducing the unemployment rate and social issues, such as crime and illiteracy.

On the other hand, I firmly believe that it is also important for the government to invest in other necessary fields. The first one is that the government should take action to encourage citizens to produce and use renewable energy, such as wind and solar energy. Those activities reduce the burning of fossil fuels and the amount of CO2, which reduces the effect of pollution on the environment and improves the global warming issue. The second one is that the government should also impose new policies on enterprises and factories to ensure that waste must be treated before being released into the environment, which contributes to minimizing pollution and creating a green environment.＋
