By studying unfamiliar environments and collecting new data, researchers can make inventions that lead to future technological progress. Indeed, many technologies are initially developed for space missions are now widely used to serve human life such as GPS positioning. Numerous satellites continuously transmit signals for location, which is significant for transport. Many apps, like Google Maps and Apple Maps, use GPS to guide users along routes that avoid traffic congestion. Consequently, these efforts not only expand humanity's understanding of the universe but also generate valuable scientific knowledge that can be applied to other fields of research.

Conversely, the considerable financial commitment required for space exploration is often related to skepticism and risk, whereas myriad unresolved issues still happen. Critical problems such as inadequate healthcare infrastructure, predominately due to overburdened hospitals and limited access to medical resources, persist in many regions. Concurrently, educational disparities, particularly in rural areas where a dearth of qualified educators and good quality of learning facilities, continue to impede social mobility and economic progress. For example, because of rugged terrain and difficult living conditions, not many people want to live in mountainous regions, which exacerbates the problem of lacking funds and experts over time. By flexibly allocating more resources to disadvantaged communities and providing additional funding, living standards can certainly be improved, children can attend school, and citizens can access better healthcare systems. Public funds, in turn, can be used more effectively to improve living conditions and address urgent social challenges.
