Kids should begin to study a foreign language when they first start school. I strongly believe this point because children are able to learn language in a natural manner and can bring more benefits in their future and help children gain understanding of new cultures.＋

On one hand, children can learn language much more quickly than adults do. Their brain can be used like sponges and this ability enables them to remember new words or sounds with ease when they are young. For instance, many kids who start to learn English at primary school can communicate fluently at high school. Also learning a foreign language early on can do good for students in schools and careers. In today's global environment, companies would appreciate people who know two or more languages to work for them. Therefore, kids who learn a language as early as possible are more likely to be part of advanced study programs and work or study abroad in the future. On top of that, the acquisition of another language can provide an opportunity for the kids to study diverse cultures and lifestyles which enable children to become understanding and tolerant of different others. For example, learning English may let kids enjoy diverse literature, music or film from many countries, which contributes to the enjoyment and engagement for them to learn a language. Admittedly, some individuals may insist that small kids should concentrate only on their mother language to avoid conflict in their school work.＋

＋Nevertheless, after carefully arranging the timetable of their day, kids will learn one or two languages effectively without any harm to the total result of education. All in all, I am a big proponent of the motion because the children would find learning language to be simpler and faster if they start to do so as soon as possible; they would have more opportunities in their lives as a result and become broader and wiser in their understanding of the world.
