In the process, corn is used as the main ingredient. Once it prepared, people will store and milling the raw material. Then, water is added and mixed with milled corn from the previous step. Afterwards, it takes approximately 4 hours to cook the mixture and 2 days to ferment it in addition. Subsequently, fermented product is separated to remove the solid by-product. Next, factories often spend about 5 hours purifying the remained liquid. This step turns the mixture into ethanol. Finally, collected ethanol fuel is stored and transported to gas station, which is ready to be used.
