The bar chart compares the proportions of males aged 16-25, watching and participating in various sports. Overall, football and horse riding and racing recorded the largest male audiences, whereas fishing exhibited the highest attendance rate. Notably, the share of male spectators was greater than that of active participants across sports, except for fishing. Regarding the two sports with the highest views, both football and horse riding and racing stood at an identical level at around 45%. However, the participation rate of the former was just 10%, 8% lower than that of the latter. Rugby, basketball, and badminton followed a more balanced pattern. The viewing figures for them were 30%, nearly 38%, and 30%, respectively, with each moderately surpassing their attendance rates, which fluctuated from the low to the mid twenties.
