Today,letting children learn foreign languages early is becoming a popular trend.While someone believe that it might too hard for their children,I totally agree with the view that : “Children should begin studying a foreign language as soon as they start school”.This will give them many benefits for their development.

Firstly,children learn new language much more easier than adults.At an early age,their brains can acquire vocabulary more naturally.They don’t need to memorize difficult grammar like adults,they learn through songs,games and cartoon instead.Therefore,they can communicate independently with correct words and grammars.

In addition,learning foreign languages can also make children become smarter.Many studies show that children who know two languages often have better memory and strong concentration.Switching between native language and a forgein language helps train the brain everyday.This not only improves children’s communication skills but also helps a lot in learning other subject at schools.

Finally,knowing another language helps children understand more about the world.When learning a foreign language,they also discover the culture,people and lifestyle of that country.For that reason,they can easily make friend with people from diffirent nations in the future.
