Some individuals believe that instead of wasting time by planning for the future, concentration on the present is more crucial. ＋I wholeheartedly disagree with this idea, and my rationale behind my viewpoint will be divulged in the forthcoming paragraphs.

First and foremost, making their own decisions for the future helps people achieve long-term goals effectively. By making a plan, individuals can know what to do today to reach tomorrow's objectives and complete their to-do lists easily, which enables them to save time. For example, some students, who want to study abroad in the near future, have to make a detailed list to prepare finance, scholarships, and sources of information about the country where they are going to study, including market price, local people, and the percentage of work after studying here. As a result, students can effectively perform well and achieve their own goals.

Additionally, planning also plays an important role in ensuring a society’s sustainable development. In fact, the government should make predictions about the climate, market, and economy to prepare budgets at some risk. For instance, the University of Waterloo showed that over 100 countries in the world are investing in renewable energy to prepare for future environmental challenges; without planning, unrenewable resources can be wasted and limited in the near future . By making plans earlier, these countries can maintain the stability of their communities, even facing any difficulties, which positively affects global development.

In conclusion, I once again reaffirm my position that although concentrating on the present is crucial, individuals should not ignore the future decisions because of several reasons. Not only fostering people’s success, but also ensuring the country's development.
