＋＋It is thought that responsibility of environmental protection lies with the authorities, while others say that citizens should be mainly responsible for dealing with environmental problems. In my opinion, I believe that environmental issues, especially pollution, need to be resolved thanks to both the support of the government and the awareness of each citizen.

On the one hand, it is argued by residents and citizens that the governments must be responsible for environmental problems. Firstly, the authorities who enact laws to prevent pollution need to contribute more than citizens. Moreover, they are those who have greater financial and technical resources and they can invest in installing pollution control devices, replacing gasoline-fueled cars with zero-emissions vehicles. In addition, governments can create nationwide policies who call for international cooperations for resolving these serious issues such as noise pollution and air pollution.＋

On the other hand, authorities and governments believed that these responsibilities should be of citizens because the main source of pollution comes from residents. In addition, citizens often dispose of household wastes and produce gas emissions from their vehicles so they raise awareness for themself to reduce pollution levels. Moreover, government policies are only effective if people cooperate, they must obey laws such as using public transportation or replacing types of vehicles.＋

However, for me, both the people and the government need to work together to solve the pollution problem. One important object which needs to deal with this situation is factories and enterprises because they emit a considerable amount of greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, governments need to implement these policies for these factories like installing waste management systems.＋

＋In conclusion, Although the two aforementioned views include advantages, I think that both the people and the government need to work together to solve the pollution problems.
