＋It is believed that money is the most integral factor motivating employees at work. Personally, I do not hold this view.

On the one hand, it is understandable why many people assert that money is the most important factor. This is due to the fact that most individuals go to work to gain income, thereby paying for their living expenses and make ends meet. Therefore, employees would work harder and put more effort to increase productivity. However, I would argue that using money to motivate workers can result in certain drawbacks. This is because many people struggle with their finances, they might overwork to earn a higher income. Consequently, their physical and mental health can be affected badly due to overload of the workforce. In the long-term, this may contribute to the low level of productivity and quality in companies.On the other hand, I maintain that there are other factors that play a more significant role in motivating employees. Chief among these is the availability of a supportive working environment. For instance, a working environment where people are friendly and comfortable to share stories with each other would likely enjoy their job, experience low levels of stress and be more motivated at work. In addition, employee-friendly policies can also motivate individuals to work harder. For example, companies can provide breakfast or snacks for their workers, offer a reasonable number of paid annual leave days and ensure that overtime is voluntary rather than compulsory. If employees are required to work overtime, they should receive an overtime pay or meals to ensure equitable between workers and also their benefits.

In conclusion, although there are numerous opinions around this belief, I assert that money is not the most important factor to motivate workers.
