The bar chart illustrates how much waste was collected and processed at a recycling centre from 2011 to 2015. Overall, there was an increasing trend in all categories, but to varying extents throughout the years. In addition, paper collection was the most common waste recycled during almost all of the period shown, while garden waste recorded the lowest level. Regarding sources of waste with higher recycling rates, the amount of paper waste started at 57 tons in 2011. The figure of paper bottomed out at 40 tons in 2013, only to grow dramatically to 70 tons by the end of the period. The recycling of glass decreased significantly from 48 tons in 2011 to 41 tons in 2012, followed by a mild recovery to 48 tons in 2013, briefly overtaking paper to become the most recycled type of waste. The glass collection experienced a slight rise to 52 tons in 2015. In terms of the remaining type of waste, tin collection fluctuated constantly between 35 and 39 tons throughout the surveyed period, despite dropping to a low of 27 tons in 2012. Garden waste followed a similar trend with tins, albeit from a lower base, which started at 32 tons. After hitting a trough of 15 tons in 2012, the amount of garden waste grew rapidly to 35 tons in 2015.
