Some people argue that we should research different minerals in space while others disagree with this incentive. From my perspective, the first opinion can be stem from the purpose of reaching for a new source of energy while the other side disagree because of the tremendous cost for the researching job. In my opinion, we should focus more on discovering resources on earth instead of seeking rare minerals in the vast space.

Regarding the supporting side of researching various minerals in space, people might agree to this insight because of one main reason is that we are gradually running out of resources for building and energy. Actually, this phenomenon is currently happening but usually overlooked by a large majority of people. Fossil fuel such as oil and coal presents a great example for this problem. It is a limited type of resource and the authorities have warned people of using electricity and water, which mainly come from traditional power plants, whenever necessary. Therefore, seeking more minerals or even a new type of energy outside the earth has been widely considered to solve this problem.

On the other side, people who disagree argue that the action of researching different resources from space is not sensible due to its expensive cost. Although this idea can potentially tackle the energy issue mentioned above, we are still unsure about the overall outcome as a tremendous amount of funds can be allocated for researching but still shows no significant results. It is, therefore, redirecting the spending to social welfare to improve people's life is much more worthwhile and feasible. From my perspective, instead of heavily investing in the task of searching for minerals in space, we should allocate more funds to researching renewable energy that can be obtained on our home planet. Then, in turn, we will be able to solve the energy problem without spending on sophisticated minerals researching scheme.

In conclusion, researching various minerals from space has been a widely proposed incentive to solve energy problem. However, it is more feasible to concentrate on investing in renewable type of energy that can be found and generated in our planet rather than heavily spending on uncertain resources researching in space.
