Moreover, it witnessed a sharp rise and reached the peak at 1,60 million in 1995 before declining substantially to the previous 1,00 million in the next 10 years. Regarding the figure of house-burgling cases in these two countries, it fluctuated between 0,20 million and around 0,70 million from 1970 to 1990 and decreased slightly by 0,20 million in 2005. Turning to the number of street robbery incidents, the figure for this kind of crime rose slightly from 0,10 million in 1970 to nearly 0,20 million in 1980. In 1985, it rose by approximately 0,20 million during the next 20-year period.
