In today's world, many people spend a lot of money on appearance because they want to look younger why does this happen? Do you think this a positive or negative development?

In recent years, an increasing number of people have spent large amounts of money on maintaining youthful appearance because they believe beauty plays a significant role in their lives. However, I believe this is a negative development because it can harmful effects on both physical and mental health.The primary contributing factor is the significant shift in social life resulting from technological advancement. Many modern hospitals' doctors have experience and facilities to implement this operation. Take Korea as an example, such facial plastic surgery mainly common among adults, driven by social pressure and the belief a better appearance improve career prospects. Another reason is that media influence to consciousness. As social media demonstrate fake appearance and lifestyle, their followers compare themselves which create willinges to youthful appearance without knowing they are unrealistic beauty.＋Nevertheless, If people constantly compare themselves, it can lead to anxiety, stress and low self esteem. Therefore, they undergo unnecessary cosmetic procedure and follow extreme diets these may cause skin irritation, allergies and other health problems. Furthermore, they may face financial pressure because appearance doesn't only factor require money but they also have to cover home budget and education fees.＋

In conclusion, the main why several people spend money on youthful appearance is that social pressure and media influence. I believe that is a negative phenomenon, as it cause dangerous effect on mental well being.
