The line graph provides information about the number of visitors travelling to a particular Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017. Overall, the total number of tourists increased dramatically over the period of seven years, with the figures for tourists travelling by cruise ships rising significantly to surpass those staying on the island in 2017. There was an upward trend in the total number of visitors to the island throughout the period. Specifically, the figure for tourists reached 3.5 million in 2017, which was three times as many as the figure in 2010. About 0.25 million of tourists chose to stay on cruise ships at the beginning of the period, which was 0.5 million fewer than those who stayed on the island. However, the quantity of cruise ships visitors rose dramatically over the following years and surpassed the number of visitors staying on the island by 2016, reaching 1.5 million. The figure continued to rise to 2 million of travellers staying on cruise ships at the end of the period. The number of travellers staying on islands levelled off throughout the years, from 0.75 million during the first two years, then reaching 1.5 million for three consecutive years from 2013 to 2015. But this figure decreased to 1.25 million and increased by 0.25 million in the last year.
