The table below illustrates the amount of money donated by organizations in the USA, EU countries and other countries to less economically developed countries, measured in millions of dollars between 2006 to 2010. Overall, it is clear that donations increased over the five-year period, with the USA contributing the largest share,while other countries held the lower rank. Recording donations of the USA, the figure showed a strong upward trend throughout the five-year period. The USA charity contributed 9,8 million dollars in 2006, and this amount rose sharply from 9,8 to 17 million dollars in 2008. However, there was a slight fall in 2009 to 16,7 million dollars. There was a dramatic increase to 20,3 million dollars in 2010, which reached the highest figure throughout the surveyed period. In terms of EU and other countries' donations, although a report showed a dramatic upward trend,these figures were lower than those of the USA. EU charities donated 3,1 million dollars then rose rapidly to 3,9 in 2008.There was a relative decrease to 3,6 in 2009 before rising sharply to 4,1 million dollars in 2010. Regarding other countries, the donation climbed rapidly from 2,8 to 3,5 in 2008. Similarly, there was a slight drop to 3,2 in 2009.
