Opinions are divided on whether young people should be required to receive full-time education until they are at least 18 years old. While I acknowledge that this requirement may not be suitable for everyone, I would argue that staying in full-time education until the age of 18 is essential for most students.

Admittedly, there is a good reason to argue that not all young people are suitable for full-time education until the age of 18. This is because some students find traditional academic learning difficult; therefore, they may choose alternative paths such as vocational training, including hairdressing or mechanics. For example, in many countries like Vietnam, schools often provide students with lessons that enable them to choose a career and pursue vocational training. By following vocational routes, students are able to develop practical skills and make well-informed decisions about their future. This suggests that full-time education may not be suitable for everyone.However, I believe that full-time education until the age of 18 offers significant advantages for most young people. The key argument is that it provides students with a wide range of knowledge by learning many subjects, such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Thus, they may discover their area of interest in order to pursue a career; however, this often happens after they graduate from high school.This can be seen in Vietnam, where students often make such important decisions after graduating from high school. Given that education helps students discover their interests, as it plays an important role in their future careers, meaning education should be required for students until they are 18 years old.

In conclusion, although vocational routes may be a suitable option for a small number of young people, I believe that requiring full-time education until the age of 18 is a better policy, as it empowers students to discover what they are interested in.
